My new book is called: Creating Balance and Finding Happiness – the book is a simple, easy to read and follow book with realistic tips to make your life more positive and resilient.
Tell us something about yourself.
This is my second book. I live in Northern NJ but originally from Long Island. I really enjoy writing but I consider myself an educator because all my books are educational and informational and go hand in hand with my workshops.
What inspired you to write this book?
The idea that I could help people to live a optimistic lifestyle. These tips worked for me and I knew it could work for others. We can all live a happy life.
How did you choose the title?
It just matched what i was saying in a simple way
What obstacles did you encounter in getting this book published? How did you overcome them?
I published with a academic publisher because I use the book when I teach college and continuing education.
How did you know you wanted to be a writer? How did you get started?
I knew since I was very young – I think 7 -8 years old. But I also knew I wanted to be a therapist so I had to write non-fiction, self-help books.
Did you learn anything from writing and publishing this book? What?
Yes, I learned a lot about academic publishing and also book proposals. It’s much harder then I thought.
What types of books do you like to read? Who are your favorite authors? Why?
My favorite author is Ayn Rand but i love all self-help books and Louise Hay has some great books.
Are you working on your next book? What can you tell us about it?
not yet. This book came out about a year ago but hopefully I can start writing again soon
What is the best advice you could give other writers about writing or publishing?
To write self-help, the best advice is to write what you have a true passion and belief in. If the advice worked for you, it will show in your book
Who is the perfect reader for your book?
Someone who wants a small, simple book. Someone who wants to get answers quickly.
Where can readers learn more about you and your book?
