I presently reside in Atlanta, Georgia migrating from Florida six years ago. Writing is indeed my passion, and I have been writing since grade school. One interesting thing about me is that I am an identical twin!

What inspired you to write this book?

Again, writing is my passion, and I’d always said that, “I was going to write a book one day”! Writing is very therapeutic I think for any writer. “Last Laugh, Last Cry” was birthed from a difficult time in my life; however, the completion of my manuscript was redemptive for me!

How did you publish this book? Why did you decide to self-publish?

I opted to self publish, so I invested all in myself.

I did retain a publisher to assist with process, and distribution of the book.

How did you know you wanted to be a writer?

I have always wanted to write. I think writing is one of the “gifts/talent” God blessed me with.

I did very well on term papers in college, and my classmates/instructors were always impressed with my writing. My classmates always told me…”you need to write a book”…so I did!

How did you get started?

I was in an emotional abusive marriage, and I felt like my life was just withering away. In order to sustain my sanity, and revamp my life…I begin to write…”Last Laugh, Last Cry”.

What do you believe is the hardest part of writing?

Completing it!

How do you do research for your books?

I love the English vocabulary! There are so may interesting words, and I am so intriqued with them. I keep a dictionary on hand to research words and their meanings, etc.

Did you learn anything from writing this book? What?

I learned that you really have to be disciplined, and be committed to the process.

What are you reading now?

“He loves me, He loves me not”, by Tracy Darity

What types of books do you like to read? Who are your favorite authors?

I like non-fiction, and fiction books. Preferably, romance, novels, books on women empowerment, and them reaching their maximum potential.

Are you working on your next book? What can you tell us about it?

I am working on another book, and I am contemplating a sequel to “Last laugh,
Last Cry”.

What is the best advice you could give other writers about writing or publishing?

Research your publishing options, and commit yourself to completing your book!
