What is your most recent book? Tell us a bit about it.

Stretching the One Income Dollar: An A-Z tip guide for saving money as well as short stories from families living on one income, and why they choose to.

Tell us something about yourself.

Live in Saskatchewan with boyfriend and youngest daughter. Practise thrift and love to stretch my dollars.I have a blog called Stretching the One Income Dollar as well, where I have guest writers, do product reviews and giveaways and share tips and my family life.

What inspired you to write this book?

A spiritual reader said it was a calling for me!

How did you publish this book? Why did you decide to self-publish?

I self published in October. I thought it would be quicker but now wish I would have taken my time with it and not hurried the process.

What do you believe is the hardest part of writing?

Getting started.

How do you do research for your books?

Ideas that are in my head and interviews with moms and one income families from mom groups online.

What types of books do you like to read?

Anything penny pinching or thrift books- cause I never can know too much and like different forms of writing.

What is the best advice you could give other writers about writing or publishing?

Make sure you find a good publisher who supports you and is there to help you sell.

What are you doing to promote your latest book?

Selling on site, but now since I am working full time, I would like to sell the book draft and the hard copies to someone who may wish to take over.
