Tell us something about yourself.
I live in and am from New Jersey although I lived in California for 10 years, which is where I started my business, Express Success, while working in television. I discovered spiritual techniques to manifest what I wanted but realized certain areas were blocked versus others which were more effortless. Wanting to discover a solution, I was lead to a spiritual process that released the cause of those blocks. As my spiritual interests heightened, I also learned I could review past lives and channel God, angels and others through automatic writing. I now work as a spiritual healer helping others release the cause of their challenges affecting money, relationships, career, health and wellbeing along with providing insights from the angels as revealed.
What inspired you to write this book?
Archangel Michael came to me and asked me to write his book. I asked him how many chapters and he told me 22. The first morning I felt inspired, I went to my computer and wrote the introduction. Each subsequent day I felt inspired, I wrote another chapter.
How did you choose the title?
Part of it was inspired and part I came up with and then had to ask Michael for his approval.
What obstacles did you encounter in getting this book published? How did you overcome them?
My biggest challenge in publishing was that I didn’t want to tell anyone that I could communicate with angels for fear of losing credibility in the business community. Once I was able to overcome that, I was able to tell people about the book, which enabled me to get it published as well as gain clients who were open to this gift.
How did you know you wanted to be a writer? How did you get started?
I started automatic in 1994 after watching a show that demonstrated it. Following that experience, I kept at it. I have written business articles and columns before but I was guided to start sharing the messages I was getting from angels on a blog. I started www.AngelEnlightenment.com to share those messages. By doing so, it helped me overcome my challenge in sharing this ability as well as the valuable information provided to me.
Do you have any writing rituals?
I would get the messages for the blog sporadically and then I decided it would be more time efficient if I could have them all at once. Ultimately, I had a coordinator on the “other side” who had usually three angels lined up to provide me messages every Saturday morning and then I would post to appear Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Eventually, Archangel Michael seemed to be the one I received the messages from the most so we just stuck with the interaction between us.
Did you learn anything from writing and publishing this book? What?
As in doing anything new, there is a lot to learn about the whole process from getting published to adequately marketing a book.
If you were doing it all over again, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t hesitate.
What types of books do you like to read? Who are your favorite authors? Why?
I have an extensive library of non-fiction books. I read when I want to refer to specific information.
Are you working on your next book? What can you tell us about it?
Archangel Michael told me just before we went into production that he has another volume he’d like me to write when I am ready. During one weekend away, I began channeling new information. Although I have not picked it up again, I am starting to feel like I should.
What is the best advice you could give other writers about writing or publishing?
Consider using a coach or having a mentor who understands publishing to help you make appropriate decisions.
Who is the perfect reader for your book?
Those that are spiritual and open to angels who are interested in learning of solutions to today’s challenges.
Where can readers learn more about you and your book?
