Iris Molina, MBA – Searching the Order in My Life

What is your most recent book? Tell us a bit about it.

This book is a non-fiction book. The purpose is that the reader learn and get help how to continue their lives. Is a bilingual English and Spanish in the same book.

Tell us something about yourself.

Iris Molina, the sixth of nine children, born and raised in Puerto Rico. She moved to the United States looking for better opportunities for her daughter and herself. She studied a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration of Management in the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources in the University of Phoenix, Puerto Rico Campus.

What inspired you to write this book?

My foundation is life itself, my values and experiences.

How did you choose the title?

I started writing this book, because I was passing a hard time in my life. I continue writing, and noticed the way I was living my life; without a balance or order. Searching the order in my life help the reader to find what happened in their life that they can not reach “happiness.”

What obstacles did you encounter in getting this book published? How did you overcome them?

In first instance, the writing process is the easiest thing. I found an editor, they edited and print the book. Time passed because I had to pay for all this process. A year later I could print some copies, when the packages of books arrived my first question was and now what? I started reading how to sell a book and many others good articles. The persons who said “wow a book, I want to have it, tell me if you need any help,” are the ones that do not have it. Now, I am trying to find out how to sell the book because the editorial finished when printed it and sent it. I am continue “Searching the order in my life” because from the negative moments great things I can do and you too.

How did you know you wanted to be a writer? How did you get started?

I have always been attracted to reading. Never thought about being a writer but if I dared to dream to have a book. I have had experiences that have emerged from them great things, or I have the talent, if I can call it so, after the storm, do something great or positive. During the many sleepless nights, I wanted to organize my life and I did write, and emerged Searching the Order in My Life, my writing.

Do you have any writing rituals?

I never think about that, but the perfect moments for me are the nights or when I can be alone without noice. During the nights good ideas came to me and I take my computer and write it.

Did you learn anything from writing and publishing this book? What?

Nothing is easy in the life, and being a writer and published by yourself is really difficult and more when you are alone in the process and the pocket is empty. That all you dream, can change for a goal that you can reach.

If you were doing it all over again, what would you do differently?

I would like to be more patient concern publishing a book. Looking different packages with more services, because I have a full-time job and time is gold for me. In addition, I want to write with a purpose of help others with each real stories, including more details and description, I want a bigger and a better one.

What types of books do you like to read? Who are your favorite authors?

My favorites books are: When I Was Puerto Rican, by Esmeralda Santiago, Eleven Minutes and The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, and The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne.

Are you working on your next book? What can you tell us about it?

I am thinking on it, but I did not work on it until I finished with this publication. It going to be a real story and really sad…expect it.

What is the best advice you could give other writers about writing or publishing?

Is it the first time, search all the possibilities for publishing during the writing process. The best thing is that you can do great things from hard moments do not give up.

Who is the perfect reader for your book?

Adults people, mostly women that many of them are passing experience like mines, if I could continue they could.
