Hello Ms. Kay,

I noticed your message was dated March 26, but I just received it today.

You didn't mention if you are self-published, but I assume you are or your publisher would be advising you. And a publicist comes after a deal is signed by a major royalty publisher, so I don't think you'd find one to express an interest anytime prior to that.

I wish I could offer you a place to go with this, but I don't have a resource for self-published cookbooks other than to suggest you find as many Internet book sites as you can, such as offthebookshelf.com, and list your book. Your sales numbers will dictate if an agent might be interested in representing you, and if you have documentable sales in the 1000's, a publisher will likely contact you directly.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Regards,

I need a good publisist to get me going on my new cookbook that I have finished. It has been published but I need a good agent to get it out there in the public eye. My biggest goal is to work on The Food Network Show. If you can guide me in the right direction, I would really like to talk to you.
Thank you very much Brenda Kay
